About Us

In cooperation with the Zionsville Community Schools, L'École Française has been offering a French language program to Zionsville elementary students for over a dozen years. 

L'École Française also offers a class to 5th and 6th graders to bridge the gap until ZCS foreign language instruction begins in 7th grade.

OUR CLASSES

Our materials are approved for use in Canadian schools.  Our more advanced students learn written French but our focus is on hearing and speaking, so even kindergarten students can make rapid progress.  We encourage active learning, and students enjoy our classes.   Please contact Cathy Dwyer at zionvillefrench@gmail.com for more specifics about our academic content.

OUR INSTRUCTORS

Mme Cathy Dwyer holds a BA and MA in French, as well as 1st and 2nd Degrees from the Université de Bordeaux.  She has taught French for over thirty years in several states.  This is her  18th year with L'École Française. Mme Dwyer will be teaching the class at Pleasant View Elementary.
